SOCIAL GROUP :Many social groups in a society are created by more than two people who communicate regularly in order to attain individual and group goals. People that belong to the same group have comparable qualities, expectations, and identities. Learning groups, labour groups, self-help groups, and other types of groups have existed in civilization for thousands of years. The social group is broken down into numerous smaller groupings. When a limited number of people form a social group, however, it is referred to as a small group.

1.      Primary group: To begin, meet basic wants (inclusion [affiliation, belonging] and affection [love, esteem]. Self-disclosure, empathy, trust, and perceived understanding are all interpersonal communicative activities. Because of long-term interactions, several textbooks use the phrase "long-standing group."

The primary group that I belong to is my family and friends group

My family has played the biggest role in shaping my personality. All of my ethics ,beliefs and morals are a result of my upbringing. My role in my family is that of  being the bright future for the family.

My friend group has also played a significant role in my personality development.my role in friend group is that I try to be there for everyone and support them.  There is saying that friends are a reflection of your own personality. Friends help in personality development by telling you when you are wrong and also guiding you on the right path .

2.      Educational groups : The Educational or Learning Group is usually responsible for discovering and developing new ideas and methods of thinking. The goal of this group is to improve members' skills, abilities, and cognitive processes. Members desire to learn more or improve their conduct. The social group that I am a part of is university. My role in the university is that of a student. University helps in personality development by preparing us for the real world and by giving us necessary resources that we need to grow and learn .

3.      Social group: "Secondary group," which is generally created to accomplish work, is also mentioned in several books. Completing a project, addressing a problem, and making a decision are all examples of decision-making. Despite the possibility of developing an intimate relationship, the social group shares a common interest or participates in a shared activity. The social group that I belong to is in the form of various group projects that are assigned to us .In these projects we collectively work to solve the assignments.my role in these groups is generally that of a coordinator . I make sure everyone has completed the work assigned to them and also help them in their work if needed. This helps in personality development as I get to work with variety of people and have to deal with them .In this process I learn a lot about how to deal with various kinds of people and how to get the work done from them.
