Organizational structure is basically the values, expectations, and practises that govern and inform the activities of all team members make up organisational culture. Consider it a collection of characteristics that define your organisation. A great corporate culture displays good features that lead to increased performance, whereas a dysfunctional company culture elicits characteristics that can sabotage even the most successful businesses.

I think a good organizational structure for any company is extremely important because:

Organizational structure represents the way one does business. Its the way people interact with each other internally in a company and also externally with outsiders .So naturally a good organizational structure will be beneficial for the company .

A good organizational makes the employees advocates for the company. A good organizational structure means that employees get steady pay checks, good incentives etc. this means that employee satisfaction is immense, this in turn leads to high work efficiency, which is lucrative for business. This also means  that employees will spread a good word about the company which will enhance company’s goodwill. A good organizational will also attract top notch individuals to the company

Organizational structure is like an immune system. Ag good organizational structure keeps all the malpractices away. For example, if an employee indulges in some malicious activities then a good organizational structure will take strict actions against such activities, which will prevent it to happen in future .This will in turn increase company’s efficiency as the management can actually focus on important things instead of constantly worrying about keeping everyone in line.

A good organizational is also important for team building . A good organizational structure avoids discrimination on the grounds of color caste gender etc .This improves employee morale and builds the spirit of “we” instead of “I” .

In conclusion ,a good organizational is very important for a company’s success as it improves employee’s morale , keeps all the malicious practices away, improves company’s  goodwill, improves team building and is overall lucrative for an organization.
